Two-step verification Error Messages

Here are the most common errors you can run into with two-step verification and how to solve them:

Error 1: "There's an account with this email. Use your credentials to login."

  • Solution: Try logging into your existing account with your valid email and password, or create a brand new account.

Error 2: "Usernames cannot be used to log in. Please enter a valid email to continue."

  • Solution: Try logging into your existing account with your valid email.

Error 3: "Your password is incorrect or your account may not exist. Try again, reset your password, or create a new account to continue."

  • Solution: First, try again. If this doesn't work, reset your password (you'll receive a password reset email). If you don't receive a password reset email, this means you don't have an account and will need to create a new one.

Error 4: "The code entered is invalid. Please enter the 6-digit code sent to your email."

  • Solution: Go back to your email and enter the 6-digit code you received.
