When can I NETFILE using H&R Block’s tax software?

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and Revenu Québec NETFILE and ReFILE services for tax year 2024 will open on February 24, 2025.

Note: NETFILE is closed for daily maintenance between 3:00 am and 6:00 am Eastern Standard Time.

Yes! You can complete a return for any of these years with our H&R Block tax software for that specific year.

You won’t be able to file your return online with NETFILE for years prior to 2019; instead, you will need to print and mail the return to the CRA (and Revenu Québec, if applicable).

If you need to complete a return for 2018 or earlier, you can visit an H&R Block retail office and one of our Tax Experts will be happy to help prepare and file your return for you.
