When can I NETFILE using H&R Block’s tax software?

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and Revenu Québec NetFile and ReFILE services for tax year 2025 will open on February 23, 2026.

Note: NETFILE is closed for daily maintenance between 3:00 am and 6:00 am Eastern Standard Time.

Yes! You can complete a return for any of these years with our H&R Block tax software for that specific year.

Note: Any years prior to 2022, NetFile Québec can’t be used due to prior years being discontinued by Revenu Québec.

You won’t be able to file your return online with NETFILE for years prior to 2020; instead, you will need to print and mail the return to the CRA (and Revenu Québec, if applicable).
