How do I remove forms/pages from my return?

If you want to remove a form or page from your return in H&R Block’s 2023 tax software, follow these steps:

  1. Under the Credits & deductions tab, click the name of the topic to remove a form/page from.

  2. On the topic page, deselect the checkbox next to the form/page name.



  3. If you entered information into the form/page,the following warning message appears. When you see this message, click Yes, Delete.

Before you can remove a topic that you’ve added to your return, you’ll need to remove any forms or pages you’ve filled out under that topic (see steps above). Then, follow these steps:

  1. Under the Credits & deductions tab, click Tax Topics. You’ll find yourself here:


  2. Under the box of the topic you wish to remove, click the Remove This Topic button.



    3. Note: You can’t remove the Commonly Claimed, Other, or Required topics.
