Warning: TL11A eligible tuition

You'll see the following warning message in H&R Block’s tax software if you entered tuition fees on the TL11A page:

Make sure the tuition fees you entered on the TL11A page are eligible for the tuition amount. The fees on your TL11A slip are eligible if the course you took was at least 3 weeks long and led to a degree. You must also have been enrolled full-time. If you don’t meet these conditions, you’ll need to remove the amount you entered. [warning]

 

How do I fix this?

If the tuition fee you entered was from a TL11A slip, make sure this fee is eligible for the tuition tax credit. If this fee is not eligible for the tuition tax credit, you’ll need to remove the TL11A slip from your return. To remove the TL11A slip, navigate to the Smart Search page under the Government slips tab on the left navigation menu. Then, click Delete next to TL11A.
