Error code 603

You will see the following error message in H&R Block’s 2024 tax software if on the Statement of employment expenses (T777 & T777S) page, you didn’t enter the square footage of your home that was used as a home office:

You need to enter the square footage used for your home office/workspace. [error code: 603]

 

How do I fix this?

To fix this error, return to the T777/T777S page and under the Your home office expenses section, enter the square footage of your home that was used as a home office in the following field:

• Square footage in your home used for your home office/workspace

Note: You can find the T777/T777S page under Employment on the Credits & deductions tab.
