Error code 602

You will see the following error message in H&R Block’s 2024 tax software if on the Statement of employment expenses (T777 & T777S) page, you didn’t select the type of T2200 form you received from your employer:

You need to select the type of T2200 form you received from your employer. [error code: 602]

 

How do I fix this?

To fix this error, return to the T777/T777S page and select one of the statements that best describes your working situation in 2024:

• I regularly work from home and received a completed and signed T2200 (Declaration of conditions of employment) form from my employer

• I had to work from home due to COVID-19 and received a completed and signed T2200S (Declaration of conditions of employment for working at home due to COVID-19) form from my employer

• I had to work from home due to COVID-19, but didn't receive a T2200S form from my employer
