Error code 600

You will see the following error message in H&R Block’s 2025 tax software if on the Statement of employment expenses (T777 & T777S) page, you didn’t enter the date when you started working from home:

You need to enter a date for the start of the period you worked from home in 2025. [error code: 600]

 

How do I fix this?

To fix this error, return to the T777/T777S page and under the Your home office expenses section, enter the date you started working from home in the following field:

• Start of the period you worked from home in 2025

Note: You can find the T777/T777S page under Employment on the Credits & deductions tab.
