Error code 599
You will see the following error message in H&R Block’s 2024 tax software if on the Statement of employment expenses (T777 & T777S) page, the total of all the periods you worked from home is more than the number of days in the year:
The total of all the periods you worked from home in {taxyear} is more than the number of days in the year. Please review the dates you entered. [error code: 599]
How do I fix this?
To fix this error, return to the T777/T777S page and check the dates you entered in the following fields under the Your home office expenses section:

Start of the period you worked from home in 2024
-
End of the period you worked from home in 2024
The number of days you worked from home in 2024 can’t be more than the number of days in the year.
