Error code 347

You will see the following error message in H&R Block’s 2024 tax software if, on the Contributions to the CPP or QPP (Schedule 8) page in the section Election to stop or restart paying CPP, you entered an invalid date in response to the question What was the date of that election?:

The date you completed the CPT30 form to stop contributing to the CPP must be between December 1, {1} and December 31, {2}. Please correct the date you entered. [error code: 347]

 

How do I fix this?

On the Contributions to the CPP or QPP (Schedule 8) page, in the section Election to stop or restart paying CPP, enter the date you completed your CPT30 form in response to the question What was the date of that election?. This date must be between December 1, 2023 and December 31, 2025.
