Error code 300

You will see the following error message in H&R Block’s 2024 tax software if, on the Ontario opportunities fund page, you entered a contribution amount that is more than your 2024 tax refund:

The amount contributed to the Ontario opportunities fund can’t be more than the amount of the refund (${1}). Please correct the amount you entered. [error code: 300]

 

How do I fix this?

To fix this error, go back to the Ontario opportunities fund page and enter an amount that is less than or equal to the total amount of your tax refund. Your refund amount is displayed in the left-hand navigation panel.
