Error code 135

You will see the following error code in H&R Block's tax software if you accidentally entered your date of birth, the date of birth of your spouse or common-law partner, or the date of birth of your dependant as 2024:

The amount or date you entered is incorrect or not typed correctly. Please ensure you entered a valid entry or used the correct format. [error code: 135]

 

How do I fix this?

To correct your date of birth, go to the Your Identification page by clicking Get Started in the left navigation menu, then Identification.

To correct your spouse’s or common-law partner’s date of birth on the Your Spouse's Identification page, click Get Started on the left navigation menu, then Identification (Spouse).

To correct your dependant’s date of birth:

1. On the left navigation menu, click Get Started, then Dependants.
2. At the bottom of the Dependants page, click Continue.
3. On the Dependant Summary page, click Open next to the name of the dependant who you want to edit their date of birth.

Correct format: YYYY-MM-DD
